Principal - Victoria Armstrong
A dance school with a family feel at its heart
Victoria is seasoned dancer, a regular competitor in her youth, and then performer. She has trained in various styles and genres, Ballroom and Latin being her favourite. She feels privileged to have ex British Champion, Carole Rowden, as her teacher and mentor, and whom she still teaches alongside . Victoria is trained up to Fellowship level with the IDTA in Latin , Licentiate in Ballroom and currently furthering her training
Her passion for dance is evident within the school as she feels dance is for everyone. Dance creates families and memories by uniting all ages and backgrounds under one roof. Dance is beneficial to all by improving health and wellbeing, social skills, work ethic, balance, co-ordination and much more.
Whatever age you wish to start dancing you are welcome in the school. You can come once a week for a class or private lesson or become a regular fixture and train to compete.
The school is lucky to be supported by helpers who assist Victoria in keeping the school happy and welcoming, and there is always someone at hand to answer any questions you may have and put you at ease.
a safe environment
Dance schools are not regulated therefore not all are qualified, insured etc. Feel assured Victoria is qualified and a member of both the IDTA and UKA, is insured, annually DBS checked, is safeguarding aware via specialist courses and attends first aid training courses. The school has various policies outlining expected behaviour and a warm welcome is always offered. Anyone attending is safe and will be looked after.
